Abstract
The present invention relates to a system for protein expression induced by heavy metals, and a biosensor for detecting heavy metals. An economically feasible system for inducing gene expression can be implemented using low-cost heavy metals by using a cadC gene which is responsive to heavy metals, and can be utilized as a biosensor capable of detecting heavy metals with high sensitivity.
